As with all Radial designs, this sail is more sensitive to trimming, small adjustments generate bigger changes compared to the x-cut.

Helmsmen, therefore, need to gain experience and sensitivity to get the best performance out of this sail. The overall shape is more stable and its life longer. It requires more work and attention to mainsheet, cunningham and outhaul to produce the best shape for the different and changing conditions.
